A Closed System
Most shrimp farms are open and allow surrounding water, waste and chemicals to flow through the enclosures. This pollutes adjacent waterways and is detrimental to the ecosystems. Because we are an inland above ground farm, there is no mixing of water and is the best choice for healthy oceans.
No Waste
The unique design of our facility produces no waste products; beneficial microbial systems create a perfectly balanced environment in which our prawns can thrive.
Water Conservation
Our facility reuses and recycles all water in which we raise our prawns- no large consumption of water.
Smaller is Better
Because we are a small operation, located just outside of Portland, Oregon, we are able to keep impacts to a minimum; no large factory farming practices and only selling to the local market.
